It's inspiring to see such a simple idea that will improve participants lives in such big ways gain so much support from so many different groups. The idea of Iowans, whether they were born here or just moved here last week, tilling the land side by side is a step in the right direction, not only for a more just food system, but for a more connected and less xenophobic community. This collaboration is going to improve peoples lives, personal health and the health of the land being farmed. They won't only be growing food, but community.
